I did this with my bridesmaids and it was so much fun!! We went to the rehearsal dinner and then stayed upstairs at my parents house like we were back in high school. It was actually the first night that week that I was able to get more than 4-5 hours of sleep, probably because my girls helped keep me sane and keep the nerves away (well, as much as possible!)
I am thinking of doing this too! That way I know everyone will be on time and we can hang out and get ready together. I'm just afraid we will spend the night talking and not get enough sleep!
This is what I want to do since I have a few that are known to be late to everything.
I did it for another friend's wedding and it was AWESOME, so I think that is the route I am going to go. I am also thinking that I will give them Bridesmaids PJ's a Thank You gift....Does that sound ok?
I'm doing this as well! We're all staying at my mom & dad's house like when we were 5+ heh. Should be fun. We'll get up, my mom will make us all breaky, head over to the salon. voila. All on time. Hopefully!
I love this idea. My bridesmaids and I are having a bridal party sleep over the night before the wedding. FI and I wont be married in a hotel but that way we are all together. Were going with the moms to a breakfast, then off to hair and makeup and we will all be together so nobody can be late. Its a great idea do it. :)
We did this, and I've done it at friend's weddings. It's fun... the only problem is that you really need your sleep and it's hard to get when your with all your best friends. Make sure you get your rest!
Worked for me! I was the only one who didn't sleep! But I don't think I would've slept no matter where I was...
We did this for my sister's wedding, and it was perfect. I made sure to book two adjoining rooms, one with a king sized bed. That way we could drink champagne and watch chickflicks in one, but I could nudge her into the other for a good night's sleep at the end.
@cameronwedding: I think we may share some bridesmaids;) I have 2 that just can not ever be on time, and I'm planning a bridesmaids sleepover as well to eliminate the chances they are not on time!
I want to do a bridal party slumber party instead of a bachelorette! (not a fan of going out and partying haha) I thought it would be fun to watch a lot of movies like Bride Wars, 27 Dresses, Made of Honor and other wedding movies. :)
I'm doing this for my wedding. Me and my girls are staying in one hotel and FH and his guys are staying in a different hotel and we will go there after the rehersal dinner. I like the idea of making the mess of getting ready somewhere where you can leave right afterwards and don't have to worry about cleaning up after yourself.

I am getting married in a hotel and I thought it would be fun (and practical) to have a Bridal Party sleepover. My thinking is everyone will be in one place at one time (I have bridesmaids infamous for being late) so that on Wedding Day we can get up and get started on things (Hair, Makeup etc..)
Does that sound good?
