I'm doing mine next week. I would LOVE to have my mother there, but she lives 5 hours away, so it's just me and my photographer. Sometimes it's easier...less cooks to stir the pot.
I am thinking of doing one and I would just go alone! I think anyone I can think to bring with would be more of a distraction.
Unless you don't feel like you know the photographer very well, I don't think you have to bring anyone with you.

hey guys,
For those of you doing bridal photos or have done them already. Who goes with you on your shoot? Do you have your mother, bridesmaids or anyone else go with you to help you out with your pictures or do you have just go alone with the photographer to do your pictures?
