You had photos done in your dress prior to the wedding?

I wouldn’t risk making it worse if I were you. I’d splurge for the full clean and steam.

If it were me, I would splurge for the full cleaning, too!

I had a similar issue when I did my bridals, luckily I stood on a white sheet for most of it :). Mine wasn’t really noticeable to anyone but me though. I had to get my dress steamed before the wedding anyway and when I took it in for that she was able to get out all of the dirt from underneath and that was free since I took it to my alterations place.

@RingPup: Bridal portraits are very common in the South and the midwest. I live in the North and had never heard of it before here.

@beachmomnva: BABY WIPES! They are gentle have no dyes aren’t really wet and will cause no damage. I got red brick dust on my dress when heading to my wedding venue and almost had a major meltdown. Good thing for the DJ and his baby wipe knowledge.

Oxyclean.  Test on an inconspicuous spot first, but I use this on my baby blue, silver and grey wool carpet all the time and it doesnt bleach/leave water marks.  I mix it into a paste with hot water, gently rub it on the spot until it disappears ( and it literally disappears before your eyes) then blot with a wet (white!!) cloth.
