I would say go for it! I actually used the theme from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and it meant so much more to me than the bridal march would have.
We are thinking about using Sandra McCracken singing the old hymn I Glory in Christ. You can listen here:

It's waltzy and lovely and different. But I wouldn't really know, I have only been to one Christian wedding in my life!
Use whatever you like sweetie!
It wasn't until AFTER my wedding that I thought about using ALL Christian music for a wedding, but one of my very favorites that I've found that would be a great processional (since it is written as a processional as Christ's bridegroom) is
But like I said... you use what makes everything else melt away around you so you can become enveloped in the moment =)
I'm using a piano arrangement of the hymn "Come Thou Fount" by David Neuve. Totally do what you want!
We used entirely worship/ hymns for our ceremony because that's how it is done in my church. If you are concerned about the words being distracting you could always use instrumental versions of songs you like.
I walked to "How great thou art" It worked well because I personally love the old hymns, and there were some nice crescenos to mark entrances, etc.
For my wedding, the bridal party walked down to "Until You" By Dave Barnes and I walked down the aisle to "Hundred More Years" by francesca Battistelli.
You can use whatever you would like to! I am using the traditional Bridal Chorus-Wagner... But I also considered Trumpet Voluntary, Mozart's Wedding march and Rigaudon-Campra.
We are using Amazing Grace played on the Bagpipes. My family background is scotish with my father born over there. It was the song my mother got piped into at her and dads wedding
I had 'There is none like you' played on the organ, but with the bridal march intro, so it was a nice surprise for everyone
We are using Vitamin String Quartet's version of Somebody to love for the bridal party processional, and their version of Coldplay's Yellow, for the bride entrance.
You can use whatever you want. :)
If I get married again, I'm using bella's lullaby from Twilight. I know it's cheesy, but it's stunning!

Hi to all my Christian WB,
Im having a dilemma in choosing my bridal entrance song..Is there anyone used other songs aside from the widely known Wedding Chorus? I am inclining to use the "Father We Commit to You" as my entrance song. Am I being totally being different?
