I have. I purchased my dress at Lisa’s last month and my consultant was awesome. That being said, i would suggest Bridal Gallery. It’s very pretty and they have the same selection and more.

Have fun!

I’ve been to both Lisa’s and Bridal Gallery. I ended up buying my dress at Lisa’s because they had the exact dress I was hunting for but I enjoyed my experience more at the Bridal Gallery.

Hope you have fun!

Maybe she should just go to Lisa’s then? LOL. Seems like it worked for the rest of us.

It’s funny. Is it just because Lisa’s store is dated? That’s my reason for suggesting Bridal Gallery.

I went to both Lisa’s and the Bridal Gallery, but I got my dress from the Bridal Gallery.  I had good experiences at both places, but the Bridal Gallery was where I found my dress and they had slightly better service.  But I got my bridesmaid’s dresses from Lisa’s and they were great for that.  I think there are more dresses at a lower price point at Lisa’s, so depending on your budget, you may want to try Lisa’s first!  But you can’t go wrong with either place.

I hate the bridal gallery so i would say Lisas first….okay wait..hate is a strong word. I just found it slightly frustrating there plus the did the unspeakable and slipped in dress; WAY over my price range…its just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I tried to  get into Lisas but i didnt have an appointment. The best service I had was at Image in White….i wish i had bought there…she even threw in a free veil!!! 🙁

I went looking for DM dresses yesterday and at Lisa’s. The atmosphere, staff and overall feeling i thought was better.

I went to Bridal Gallery twice.   I am a size 16 and found they had really limited selection.   Beautiful place, I wish could have found my gown there.   They weren’t overly helpful either.  I ended up finding my dress in Toronto, and oddly enough it was a gown they could have ordered for me and that they had in the store but no one suggested.

I went up and down bridal row in New West.. lol..  I went to Sposa, didn’t find anything I liked because they had more of the “trendy” or the “in” dresses.. and they hardly had any normal A line dresses..  I went to Lisa’s, it was OK..  Not much of a selection there, especially in the full figure section.  I wasn’t impressed there.  I went to a couple of other random small stores along the row and had no luck.

I ended up buying my dress from the Bridal Gallery, a Maggie Sottero (since they are the only authorized retailer there).  I went there twice actually, the first time was just trying on random dresses and styles to get a feel for it.. and the last appointment was when I said yes to the dress.  I got great service and its a pretty store with a huge selection of dresses.. and nice areas to go out and show off you dress.  I definitely recommend it there.  I found Lisa’s as a bit more expensive than Bridal Gallery, but it depends on the dress.

I went to the same three stores… I didn’t like Lisa’s (not very personable consultant, didn’t like their dresses)… liked the consultant at Bridal Gallery but didn’t find a dress I loved… loved the dresses at Sposa (much higher price point) but the consultant wasn’t very interested in helping me until I showed interest in buying.

I much preferred Isabelle’s Bridal in North Vancouver. Although I didn’t love the consultant, they offered me 20% off my dress if I bought it that day, so it made it much more affordable. I’m planning on getting my alterations done somewhere else though.
