- Wedding: September 2013
I need to here everybody’s take on this. Myself and my whole wedding party are stressing out now. Myself and a friend of mine are both getting married within a few month of each other so we both decided to go to the same salon for Bridemaids. my wedding party has 10 girls hers had 5. We both ordered well in advance and specifically told the owner that we need the dresses by this date no later because of location of bridemaids alterations etc.
Now my friends wedding is in 2 weeks and the dresses just came in now and this is with us pushing the lady or else there is a good chance they would have been in even later totally unaceptable considered we ordered well in advance. My wedding is even worse because I have so many girls from all over. The dresses already past the due date I needed them for and when I ask her she is rude and tells me that we have stressed her enough. That there is lots of time for alterations. Then I clearly repeated to her that is not your decision to make and I know that my girls have vacations and some live far and won’t be able to get back here to pick up the dresses. Most of my girls thought to pay the dresses in full on her insistance to make it “easier”. My wedding is now 5 weeks away still no signs of dress and I wanted them over a month ago. Has anybody else had this problem?
I would understand if I ordered them late but shouldn’t a customer who pays for something and tells you when they need them get their product when they need it? Not the store owner changes and tells you when you need it?
