So its late here in Seattle but...I'm hoping some bee's are still awake to help me figure this out!!

The bridal bustier I bought from the bridal boutique is horrible, I must have been a lot bigger when they measured me because my boobs are swimming in the cups and it doesn't suck me in so I'm looking for a new, preferably push-up bustier.

I haven't found any in stores that include push up, padded cups...and someone mentioned in a thread earlier today about the victoria secret miraculous strapless push up bra so it had me thinking I should buy that...but that means I can't have a bustier right? Could I do both for more vavavoom in the chest area?

I just want to be SUCKED in and have boobs for once!

You know, I'm actually a fan of Felina's bustiers - I find that they do the best for me, and even though we had the whole conversation about VS' line today, I'm not sure that VS has the best bustiers. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I'm waiting for the page to load as I'm typing

I'm really worried that a bustier will accentuate my back flab...I'm looking into waist cinchers too but I'm thinking those will do the same?

    ahh.

@Heatherloveskenny: What does your dress look like?  If you're worried about back flab, there have been some great threads started on how to eliminate back flab with a simple v-shaped alteration in the back.

dang it, I cannot find any photos of my dress from the back...

but it has a corset back, maybe I should buy the bustier, VS miraculous strapless bra and some spanx and just see what works best...

if I am remembering correctly, I think it was more of the arm/back flab area I was worried about so I just need to spend some more time at the gym toning too :)

Do you have a Ross in your area?  You can sometimes find some really good ones there:)  Or marshalls or TJ Maxx.  (i'm all about the budget)...

    Just a thought.

Thanks! I'm not sure if I can do that with my dress but I'll ask alterations if it can work!

I have a Dominique longline, and it certainly does the job.  I would try on a bustiers in different sizes outside of your standard bra size.  I had the exact same problem when trying to find a bustier.  It was so frustrating!!  I was sized at three different places, with three vastly different measurements.   I ended up buying one that is 2 cup sizes smaller and one band size larger that gave me the right fit.

Oh man, you just went shopping. Well, in the event that you try and love the felina bustier, I just found a coupon code for Barenecessities.com (use the code BNSPRING for 25% off).  I just ordered myself another felina bustier for $58.65 - also free shipping!

@pengoala: how do the felina bustier's fit? are they pretty true to size?

@Heatherloveskenny: Yes, they do, but I would suggest you go to a store to get measured/fitted properly first, or check their sizing charts (and measure yourself) just to be safe.

    @Heatherloveskenny:

I bought the Felina 7643 bustier today at bloomingdales and I loved it! I has all in one- comfort, push up, padding, just perfect!

I did buy a size bigger in cup than my normal size though so I suggest you try it on first!

    Highly recommended...

I agree that you should go to a local store and try on different strapless bras.  Each manufacturer sizes their bra differently.  Since my dress has a corset bodice already sewn in the dress, I don't need a full longline.  I tried my Felina but it didn't work so I've purchased several options from Figleaves.com.  I've found that European designers fit me better.  US I wear a 32B or 34A and need super padding to create the illusion.  But European, I wear a 34B and I have a natural rack.lol
