Have my dress fitting soon and am struggling on finding a bridal shoe I like for my dress.
I’m 5’2″ so would prefer to have a little height – max 3 inches I feel would be OK – anything over that and I may get uncomfortable.
I’ve attached pics of my dress and the shoe styles Im liking the most. These are mainly Badgley Mischka heels with one Manolo in there. I’ve liked the price point for BM heels and some are even on sale.
Wedding is in summer so I’ve been drawn to peep toes, open toes and sandal heels. Debating though if a closed toe would look a little more elegant for the wedding.
Also thinking ivory heels would make more sense with the dress bc lace will be ivory, underneath champagne.
Where did you find your bridal shoes? Did you prefer closed to open? Did you switch shoes for dancing or feel fine all night?

I loooove the bottom two shoes! If I had to pick one I’d say the bottom right. I like the idea of having an ankle strap for dancing all night too.
Oh and I just got a pair of shoes that were on sale from David’s Bridal and just so happened to go with my dress. They’re lacy with a peep toe and ankle strap. I think they’re four inches? From wearing them around they feel pretty comfortable, I’m going to try and get through the night with them.

chelseacg : Yes ankle strap definitely makes me feel more comfortable — as if the shoe is literally tied onto me haha. And I tried that bottom right one on the other day and loved it!

I think Nordstrom rack online has Badgleys on sale right now 🙂

I have the top right pair of BM. I bought them on Poshmark used by one bride for $60!!!!! But they are not comfy. Granted I never wear heels so take it with a grain of salt. I have been breaking them in while doing dishes in my house and I still hate them. I’ll be finding a pair of equal height to change into for dancing and walking to and from picture taking.

These are mine. $35 at Kohls with the 30% off coupon! My dress is ivory lace over champagne so I went with the gold color.

- Wedding: March 2017 - Outside in Paris
Since you’ll be in them all night you might benefit from the ankle strap. But all of those shoes are cute!!

I like the two right hand options with the peep-toe.
