When is your shower? Mine was this past weekend and it was a blast, considering within 24 hours of the shower I had 4 people cancel last minute. Just go into it with a positive attitude, it’s what you make of it, celebrate with the people who came and enjoy that this is a celebration of/for you!

Enjoy it!  Even if its only you and a friend you would enjoy yourself because you are surrounded by those who love you and not all the extra people in life.

I haven’t had my showers yet, I have one coming up in 2 weeks. I’m excited yet very nervous.  I’m not big on the spot light being on me, I guess I should get over that as in a couple of months the spot light will def be on us!!

So excited for you!!  Just be happy and enjoy every minute, if you enjoy yourself your guest will have a great time!

I was the same way. I hate being the center of attention and doint have a big family or a lot of friends. I was so worried it would be boring. But it was great! We had about 12 people there for brunch and it was the all the closest women in my life. Your shower will be great 🙂

We invited 60 people and for a variety of reasons (travel, vacation, childcare, etc) we ended up with 24 people (including my Dad! <3 He took all the photos.) Smaller is better and far more intimate. I think had we gotten as many as we would have invited I probably would have been anxious and awkward. As it was, I was so worried about my FMIL and her sister fitting in with the rest of the clan as they aren’t very outgoing. It turned out beautifully and I don’t regret a single thing! Just have a great time…it’s quality NOT quantity! 🙂
