That sounds like fun! :) I think it's really considerate that your coworkers wanted to do something nice to recognize your wedding.
My coworkers threw me a work "shower" but it was a cocktail party after work. There was a huge commotion about it, though. In the past, they've thrown big showers during work hours, with games and gifts and the whole thing. Some people got offended because they thought that this was unfairly recognizing people who got married, had a baby, etc--because we didn't do anything for other people. I guess the compromise was to have my party after work hours and make it optional, instead of during the workday. About half of my coworkers attended, but it was really nice to see those who were there.

Has anyone else had a bridal shower at work?
We are having one at my work tomorrow, and I'm really wondering how it will go. I work at a law school, but I haven't worked there very long! I'm really wondering who will show up and what kind of gifts we will be getting!
