We're having a cocktail party; I was planning on skipping it and kind of bummed about it because I didnt even have an engagement party since my family is scattered but my friends said well at least your MOH/sis can send your invitations out (she lives one hour away from Manhattan and is a family woman)
so I'm just letting my sis send out the invites I made and having cocktails at my apartment
too expensive for a restaurant place and cant play games in a restaurant; I'm too busy to cook
ohhh yah that place looks really cute! i am definitely going to keep that in consideration
Duke's Malibu... it's a little pricey, but they have a FANTASTIC brunch.
interesting, anyone been to cafe pacific at trumps international? kinda eyeing it
I haven't been to cafe pacific.
I had mine at Marmalade in Sherman Oaks and it was great.
I also suggest La Fritte in Sherman Oaks - I can't wait to go back there for their Champagne Brunch.
I've also heard Picnic has a great brunch. I've been there for dinner and it's sooooo good. http://piknic.us/
I had mine at trumps and it was a blast, felt kinda rush though because they only gave a 2 hour limit but they did give me a congrats dessert which was nice, nothing can beat the view tho!
Try Joe's Restaurant in Venice. They have the best brunch in town, and are always written up in magazines like Los Angeles and Angelino. They have a cute back patio with a water wall that holds about 40 people. It's a very popular place for wedding and baby showers.... I know, I'm the Catering Director!! What about Khoury's in Long Beach? They have a pretty good champagne brunch and it's waterfront.
