We are having a bridal shower next week starting at 12:00 in the afternoon. I’m having a little trouble deciding on a menu that would defend everyone for lunch. I know for sure we are having mini quiche, and all the regular party platters like veggie and fruit trays. I was thinking mini burgers like sliders, but I don’t feel they really go with quiche since they are more brunch type food. I need something that’s filling and that’s easy to eat while sitting with no tables or standing with mini plates. Should I just go with the burgers and the quiche ? I still need help deciding on what else to have there. I know I will be making cupcakes for dessePleas would like to somehow stay on the more lunch types of food even though we are having mini quiche. Thanks!!

@stillframe: How about ham and buns? Either the thin deli slice or the hot thicker slices. We always seem to have ham sandwiches mixed in with brunch foods for family events. If you want to do burgers I think that’s okay too- I don’dt think it would really clash with the quiche.

@MrsBeck: thanks! That was the thing, if I do ham and buns or burgers they still need to put all their condiments on it afterwards etc.
What are some other ideas that could with the quiche and burgers or bunwiches??

One thing that I look forward to having at my brunch wedding is a mashed potato bar. Guests will get a scoop of mashed potatoes in a martini glass and they’ll be a bunch of toppings they can add.

Definitely some sandwiches of sorts. Sliders may or may not work out after sitting there for a while- regular turkey/cheese or roast beef or tuna sandwiches (cut smaller) are easy to walk around and eat, and they add a little more variety to the offerings.

How about skewers of sorts? or cream cheese, lox, and bagels?
