So my bridal shower is tomorrow at 11:30am and I have two dresses that I’m choosing between…but it’s not so simple because there are pros and cons for each dress…
What I like: I feel pretty in this dress. Not amazing, but pretty. I also feel comfortable; nothing is uncomfortable about this dress.
What I don’t like: I wish the bottom were more fitted. It feels a little boho/60s, which really isn’t my thing. It looks a little frumpy next to dress #2
What I like: I feel AMAZING in this dress, confidence wise. I love how it fits my body, I love the length, and I love the color.
What I don’t like: The neck like feels like its cutting into me. Not in an “omg I need to take this off way” but it’s rather uncomfortable. I feel like I keep wanting to tug at the neckline.
So there you go. I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to stretch the fabric but it’s a very tight fabric and I don’t know if it will do anything. I read that if you soak it and pull on it, it’s supposed to loosen. I did that last night and hung it to dry. I don’t have time to take it into a seamstress or someone who can alter it, as my shower is in 24hrs and family is coming into town.
What do I do??

These dresses are SO similar I have no idea why one would make you feel frumpy and the other male you feel amazing. I would go with the more comfortable one.

I would go with comfort…they both look amazing on you but so similar so I would rather be comfy.

I had to look between the two a couple times just to notice the differences. Choose comfort.

I think what’s most different is the bottoms; I like how the “uncomfortable” one is fitted all the way down. The other one just ends wider. I feel I look slimmer in the other one and I feel more mature.

Those two dresses are practically identical. Go with the first one, especially if the fabric in the second one’s fabric is snug. You’ll be sitting down openings gifts and you won’t want to feel like you’re being suffocated.

Both look stunning on you! You should definitely feel amazing in the first dress because you look it. That being said, I would go for the first one because you DO look amazing and it’s more comfortable. Win-win!

Brittney Neff : go for comfort – if the second one is tight around your neck just standing there, I imagine it will feel even more restrictive when you’re sitting down or moving.

You look equally slim in the two dresses in photos. The first dress is more interesting and more comfortable–I vote number one!

It’s the bridal shower. Unless you hired professional photography to take photos that you’ll keep for a lifetime – go with comfort.

I’m against the grain here haha. If it were me personally, I could handle a couple of hours of discomfort if I knew I looked bangin’ (which you do in both dresses, but the second one especially!)

I think dress 1 looks better on you. From experience even if a dress looks amazing but is uncomfortable, you will not be amazing in it because you are uncomfortable. When the dreses look equally good go for comfort

I actually like the second one a lot better even though they’re incredibly similar. I think the higher neckline & losing that trim at the bottom really elongates the look of the dress making it much more flattering. If it’s just a couple hours, I’d go with #2

I much prefer the second dress.

It took a couple looks to even see a difference in the dresses. I’d go for comfort.
