Hi Bees,

My mom and sister are throwing me a nautical/beach themed bridal shower. It's at a restaurant overlooking the ocean. My sister has told me they are using hints of baby blue in the decor.

I'm trying to find a navy dress that is somewhat formal--nothing too casual as it is a nice restaurant and the event is a sit down lunch.

Any thoughts on where I should look? I've looked at BEBE and Cache without finding anything.

i recommend jcrew. they make some lovely preppy/nautical type dresses and they usually have a royal or navy blue color. good luck!

As weird as it sounds, have you looked at David's Bridal? A lot of their short BM dresses I would LOVE to own and wear to stuff like this!! And a lot of them are basically the same price as other stores.

Check out forever 21 too online they have a ton of stuff! Cheap and you can return when you buy online!

I wore this to my shower and received a TON of compliments.....YES it is Target, but the fabric was not flimsy. I had to order a dress size up due to my D-boobs. but it was sooo flattering!
