I got a set of plain white pilar candles. I think everyone can find a use for those.
for my shower my bridesmaids gave out pancake mix and vermont maple syrup (we went to vermont for my bachelorette party). i keep getting random messages about people who made their pancakes and how yummy they are!
i always enjoy anything edible!
One shower I went to I was given a measuring cup set with a note that said something like "your thoughtfulness cannot be measured"...i can't remember exactly what but it was simple and i thought super sweet
For my bridal shower my sister is using cute cylinder vases and putting bath salts in them, using a cork to seal and attaching a name tag to the top of the cork for a seating card. It acts as a place card and favor. I love bath salts.
I haven't received a favor, but this got me thinking: why doesn't the bride give the favors? Is it just because she isn't hosting? Would it be weird for a bride to give favors?
I only enjoy favors which are edible such as chocolate, cookies
