Here are the favors I made when we hosted my cousin's bridal shower. We found the glass containers at a dollar store for $0.75. My mom makes candles so she filled the containers and then I decorated the outside with ribbon and then paper flowers from Hobby Lobby. I also printed out little labels saying the scent and a little thank you with the date onto address labels and stuck them on the bottom.

There probably won't be a theme...I just want a general favor...
What do you think?
In general, edible favors are best. However favors are never required no matter what the event is. At the same time, bath stuff seems to be popular for shower favors.
I just saw a shower where the hostess placed a cooking utensil with a cute tag on each guest's place setting ( it was tucked into the napkin ). The tags said stuff like "Hey there Cookie" attached to a wooden spoon and Bon Appetit attached to a spatula. Cute and cheap!
Thanks ladies...Kmattso2 those are so cute! Thanks for sharing! :)
Hopefully some of these ideas can get you started thinking.

Not sure what your theme is, but there are so many cute kitchen items that work great for bridal showers - Measure of love - measuring spoons, the perfect blend - coffee samples, etc... Anyway, hope this gets your creative juices flowing, good luck and happy planning.
For my sister's shower, we made white chocolate lollipops in the shape of an umbrella (shower, get it?), and put each lollipop in a cellophane bag with a personalized ribbon. They were a hit!
My super creative bridesmaids made home-made vanilla extract, in adorable little bottles from a tutorial on Style Me Pretty! They added a daisy cookie cutter and a printed recipe for my grandma's sugar cookies. It was definitely the cutest favor I've ever seen!

for my best friend's bridal shower, i made rice krispie squares but used a flower shaped cookie-cutter and decorated them with purple & green icing (the shower colours). They were popular and fairly easy for a shower with 50+ people!
I LOVE the vanilla idea! And cookies. Maybe a shortbread... maybe even flavored? (I'm a sucker for lavender shortbread) Candles are cute too! I always need candles and never feel like buying them cause they're kinda expensive.
Wow thanks ladies I love all these ideas. The vanilla idea and the cookie/ rice krispie idea sound really great. I was just at a retirement party for my aunt and there was so many good homemade snacks there...so I think I may go with food! Thanks everyone!

My mom and MOH are "planning" the bridal shower...but I kinda know its going to happen! But I want to make sure the guests leave with a nice favor. What did your guests get as a favor or will get at your bridal shower? THANKS HIVE!
