I always describe it as similar to a baby shower, but for a bride.  The games I’ve played before are “How well do you know the bride?” and design a wedding gown for the bride using toilet paper or something like that.

We did a purse scavanger hunt, crazy hands make-up ( someone is the arms and stands behind another person to apply makeup while blind folded), TP wedding gown, and wedding mad gab. So much fun! Hopefully there will be some wine or champagne so you can loosen up a little :o)

The purse scavenger hunt!  I forgot about that game.  That was fun.

I love the “newlywed game” at showers. Before the shower they ask the groom a bunch of questions and pre-record his answers.  And then they ask the bride at the shower to see how many answers match.

Another one I like is the guess the age game where they put pictures of the bride up from a young age to now and people have to guess how old she is in each picture.

Usually shower are pretty casual.  Everyone comes, mingles, eats a little, there are games thrown in between and maybe a toast.  and then gifts get opened at the end.
