IF YOU BUY SOMEONE A GIFT FOR THEIR BRIDAL SHOWER ARE YOU STILL OBLIGATED TO BUY THEM A GIFT FOR THEIR WEDDING?
I HAVE THREE FRIENDS GETTING MARRIED THIS SUMMER AND I AM STANDING UP IN ALL THREE WEDDINGS. I HAVE PURCHASED THEM A GIFT FOR THEIR BRIDAL SHOWERS, BUT AM I STILL SUPPOSED TO GET THEM SOMETHING FOR THEIR WEDDING WHEN I GO TO THE WEDDING?

@Chlso823: yes, the bridal shower is a separate event. It’s usually good to get something smaller for the shower and then something nicer for the wedding. If you cannot afford it, at least get them a card, its the thought that counts!

@Chlso823: If you’re IN the wedding party, as opposed to just being a wedding guest I think it’s ok to get them a smaller gift or just a card for the wedding.
