Yeah, sunshine, I agree with artbee. We live together and are very well off. But when I started to explore exactly what you can/should register for, I realized how much we were missing and how much fun we and our guests could have with our registry.

I’m registered at Crate and Barrel for some beautiful lamps and cooking utensils, Pottery barn for everyday square plates and silverware, Williams Sonoma for amazing cookware and electics and Jonathan Adler for interesting bathroom pieces.

You could also do an untraditional shower like a “Lingerie Shower” or a “Stock-the-Bar” shower.

What about everyday household objects? I know this sounds silly, but I am kind of obsessed with cleaning products, especially the really froufy, nice smelling ones (like the Mrs. Meyers line or stuff from Williams Sonoma or Restoration hardware) but I wouldn’t really spend money on that stuff because it’s usually 2-3-4 times more expensive than regular soaps and stuff. You could have a froufy household items shower where you could suggest your favorite scents and people could get you cleaning products, soaps, candles, etc. for your house… I love candles but hate spending a drop of money on them!
