- Wedding: April 2013
Note: I originally asked this in parties, but I figured it would do better under etiquette.
This may be a stupid question and I’m probably over-thinking it, but I’m curious…
Future Mother-In-Law is hosting a bridal shower for me on December 29th (the wedding is April 12th, but she lives across the country and will be home for Christmas) and asked me to make a guest list of the people I would like to invite. So, do I just give her a list of who I would like to invite on my side of the family? She is helping to pay for the wedding, so of course she had some say in the guestlist and women from her side will be invited to the shower, but I figure she’d already have that list and addresses for people in her family or would be able to get them a lot easier than I would (so me writing down their names and addresses would be redundant). I know I probably don’t have to get any addresses at all, but I just thought it would be easier for her, especially since she has the tendency to procrastinate on things.
So, what did you do? Did you do an entire guestlist or just your side (if your Future Mother-In-Law hosted)? Thanks in advance.
