bump. Boards are ACTIVE this morning! Anybody? When did/are you giving your shower gifts to the hostesses??
I didn't even think of this. I have a while to worry about it though to. Cookies or candle would be nice!
I think that sounds lovely and thoughtful!
I just framed photos of each of the hostesses that were taken at the shower and gave them to them about a week later.

Some friends at church are throwing a shower for me this month. It's looking to be like a pretty good group-- 15-20 people, 6 of whom are hosting. I bought some nice winter-scented candles that come in a glass holder with a tin lid. Really nice, but I am wondering if that is enough? Money is really tight so I can't afford to spend a lot more, but I thought about making a batch of sugar cookies and writing "Thank you!" on each one, and including a couple of those with each candle. What do you guys think?
Also, I'm not really sure what is the appropriate time to give them the gifts? Do I wait until the end? Show up early? I have been to a few showers but have no memory of any kind of thank you gift from the brides to the hostesses...
