My bridesmaids (6), mom, and MIL hosted my shower. I got my bridesmaids monogrammed umbrellas in my wedding colors, shower gel, candle, and chocolate. I got this idea on the Bee. I had a tag on the bag that said "thank you..." then on each item i had another tag:
shower gel: for showering me with love
candle: for lighting up my day
candy: for making my day so sweet
and then the umbrella goes with the 'shower' theme.
I got my mom and MIL a pandora charm. i think everyone really appreciated it

What a cute idea! Sheesh I'm glad I saw this.. I was going to give them BM gifts at the rehearsal dinner but never thought to thank them with a gift for the shower!
@Gabrielle123: Any suggestions on a good place to get the umbrellas monogrammed? Otherwise I can always google it =P

i totally didn't respond to this! sorry! I actually got mine on etsy. I can't remember the seller, but if you type in monogrammed umbrellas on etsy you will find some results. It's great too becuase they will make it exactly how you want it. For instance, my seller usually puts the three initials on the umbrellas. But I only wanted the first initial. And I wanted it in a specific shade of grey and she had it
I'm sure it's not the cheapest option, but I was too lazy/impatient to search around.

Are you supposed to get gifts for your shower hostesses??? I hadn't heard of this :S
@Mrs.LilyLunaLove: its not required. I gave my girls gifts because most of them were fresh out of college or really struggling financially. And I wanted to show that I appreciate them

Okay bees, I'm kind of lost on what to do so I'm looking for some input!
My MOH (only bridesmaid) is going to be putting the shower together which will be hosted at my parents house, and I think my mom may be helping out with the food. Its going to be 'Naughty or Nice' themed and I'm not sure if I should get small hostess gifts that somewhat go along with the theme or something else. So, what did ya'll give your shower hostess? And when did you hand them out?
