My bridesmaids planned an awesome shower for me and used the theme of a Day At the Races and decorated adorable straw sunhats for all the guests. They had them hung all over the house and had mirrors on the walls.. it was the best icebreaker ever as everyone shopped for their perfect hat.. it got everyone talking and giving advice as the hats were being tried on and even swapped.. it was so fun. Here's where they got the idea.. so creative and not expensive to do: http://www.celebrationideasonline.com/bridal-shower-ideas.html You could use it as a tea party theme too!

In helping my dear mother plan my bridal shower...I haven't yet nailed down a theme...originally we were thinking of doing like a comedy show type thing...but in putting the list together...I think it will be too many people...so Im thinking maybe something more along the lines of at my parents house, or a small facility/patio or something...Think Oct in Seattle...so my concern though, is a LOT of people who (hopefully) can come DONT know each other...what kind of ice breakers has anyone done? Im not a super outgoing person, and Im not big on the bridal shower 'games' ...
THanks bees!
