    I contacted some people at the local Tysons MAC store to schedule something when I'm in town for my bridal shower.

    I could not believe I was quoted $350! Ridiculous! That's how much I'm paying on my wedding day (including my 2 trials beforehand)

    I get makeup done at the house my MAC professionals all the time, and they charge 80.

    Does anyone know anybody in the area that comes to the house and is awesome for a better price?

    I'm pretty sure that most MACs actually do free makeup applications in store, as long as you buy $50 worth of products. That would be a good deal on the day of your shower, because you get to take home $50 worth of makeup.

    Of course, you might want someone to go to your house... hope you find someone!

    @Evie19:I am a wedding photographer and I use Ashley Gardiner.  I think she is very reasonable $40 - $80 for hair and makeup.  She is out of Arlington.  Good luck! Her number is 301-904-9414 and her e-mail is ashleyagardiner@gmail.com

    That is a bit rediculous. I would go into the store. If you buy some of their product they will generally do your makeup application for free.

    @organizedbride11: I would do that, but a few posts above I explained why I can't do that- MAC opens at 11am on Sundays, and my bridal shower starts at 11am on Sunday!

    Oh, well :-/

    @Evie19: Those prices are redic!

    I had great experiences with the following makeup artists (in theory just tell them it's a trial and you'll get those rates right?):

    Kira @ Bridal Beauty Associates - http://www.bridalbeautytogo.com/ and Dana @ Blend  http://www.blendevent.com/index2.php - Both of them are fabulous
