MrsYellowDaffodil:  what color is the cardigan?

The shoes look brown to me. If you are going to keep wearing them, I suggest you at east clip the threads that are on the worn edge.

MrsYellowDaffodil:  Do you have nude/tan or light brown colored heels? I think the black is offsetting and harsh against your overall look. The dress and cardigan are a very nice Bridal Shower look, and suits you well. Just the shoes have to change.

Cute dress and cardigan but those shoes don’t really go. Do you have a pair of cream or pink flats to wear or nude heels?

I am assuming the cardigan is camel with maybe a bit of a pink undertone.

I would spend a few dollars on an inexpensive statement necklace. You need something to add a bit of a punch to the outfit.

Forever21 has lots. You really need to go in with the dress and find the necklace  that is perfect  in shape and color.

MrsYellowDaffodil:  Ok. Now that I know the color of the cardigan is Rose/Pink (I thought it was like a camel/dark tan/light brown), a lighter colored shoe is definitely more complimentary & appropriate.

Payless? DSW? Famous Footwear? Kohls? Sears? Have any of those stores around you? You can find a heel that would be lighter in color to match the overall look and theme of your dress. The dark brown heels with the White & Rose colored articles of clothing is too much.

I ike the style of Jewelry that a PP has suggested. A nice statement piece. Forever21 is good for that. Or H&M.

I love your outfit! The dress looks good with or without the cardigan. I would just change the shoes. They don’t go with the look.

MrsYellowDaffodil:  Beautiful! I’m jealous, my shower is on Saturday and I have NO idea what I’m wearing yet.

The dress looks good with or without cardi. I would go with gold hoops, no necklace since you said the beads are gold on the dress and the wood bracelet (LOVE wood bracelets!).

As others have said, nude heels… but if you don’t have them/don’t want to buy them it just wear the ones you have!

Good luck!

MrsYellowDaffodil:  Cute outfit! Yes… get you a statement necklace and some nude heels. Trust me, every girl needs a good pair of nude heels. You should be able to find TONS of them too right now 🙂

MrsYellowDaffodil:  Personally I don’t really think your outfit needs any jewelery since you’ve got the embellishments on the top of the dress. Maybe just earrings. I love that dress by the way and would try to steer away from wearing the cardigan unless you’re cold (it takes away from the dress).

+1 on the nude heels, every girl needs a good pair since they go with just about anything. But since you’re not looking to spend any extra $ I think your shoes are fine, but I would consider maybe just wearing dressy flats or sandals over those?
