lol yeah all along i thought it was just a few ppl til i saw the last picture! pretty dress!
First I saw the desserts and thought...yummy! Then I saw the presents and thought...lucky! Then I saw your guests and said....whoa! That's a lot of people!! It looks like tons of fun :)
thank you bees! we had a great time! it FLEW BY and i can't believe it's over (i imagine i will be saying this about our wedding day x10000000) lol.
yes, we did have a HUGE shower... 70 people total (including our family and my bm's)
the food was amazing (though i didn't eat very mucH! :T) and we had an assembly line for the gift opening (so we didn't bore the guests) and also broke it up by having the gift basket handouts (we didn't do games) between every 10-15 min of opening gifts to sustain the guests' attention!
i totally broke down in the middle of my thank you speech to my FMIL that i DID NOT EXPECT... but FI said it was really sweet and that a lot of people appreciated my sentiment :)
That's IS a big shower! I'm glad that it turned out great. Your dress is cute!
Hope it was a wonderful time. I loved my shower, and wish that we had gotten more photos. The ones I have are from my moms' camera - which are mostly fuzzy :( It did fly by, and there was almost no time to chat with everyone (which by the way is TOTALLY like the wedding day!)

And now that its over, doesn't it feel like the wedding is that much closer? After my shower I felt like the wedding was closing in on me! In a good way :)
@Ella1978: DITTO! i met as many ppl as i could and tried to talk to my friends and family for more than just a "hello" but i didnt get to everyone and i didnt even get pictures with a few of my friends i hadn't seen in a really long time :(
we did overall have over 250+ pictures :) thanks to my army of BM's who kept the entire day in alignment :)
That's great that you have so many photos. You both look so cute and so happy (ps, love the yellow dress!)

@jennifer_espos: thanks girl! yes.. this wknd was literally the tipping point for a crazy 2 months until the wedding, i'm glad that it's all started, but the next 3 weeks 'til finals are over are the WORST part! wedding-wise i am super excited!
vegas in 5 weeks and wedding in 8 weeks! AHH! :)

my FMIL was sweet enough to throw me a huge bridal shower at a banquet hall (was orig going to have a small one at home with a few friends/family).
after a somewhat painful shower planning process (long story)... the day was perfect and i am so grateful for my MOH & BM's, FI, and our wonderful parents and family and friends<3
