I was wondering the same thing! I think since the ladies throwing it will be in the wedding your prep-kit is a great idea!
The ladies thowing my showers are not in the wedding so I bought a cute antique saucers (on sale for about $1 each!) and am going to buy a nice candle to put on them. I thought the saucer was a little touch of my taste, plus it's something they can have forever vs. just a candle.
My question is if that is a sufficent gift? Should I get something else also?
There was a post similar to this a couple of weeks ago. Here is what a wrote - I copy/pasted it. I got this idea from another bee last year
My shower was hosted by my bridesmaids, mother, and MIL.
I got my mom and MIL pandora charms for their bracelets. I got my bridesmaids a few things: The bag that held the gifts had a tag that said "Thank You..."
Each item also had a tag.
Candle: tag said "..for making my day bright"
Gourmet Chocolate: "...for making my day so sweet"
Shower Gel: "..for showering me with love"
And then I got them Monogrammed umbrellas with our wedding colors. It was a 'shower' theme.
They all seemed to enjoy it! Especially the umbrellas!
Good luck!
For my BMs (who are hosting the shower at my FMIL's house) I got them each a cool looking picture frame (all different) and printed out a picture of the two of us. Then for my mom, my future MIL and my brother's fiance, I got them all vintage hankies as a small token.
My mom hosted my shower and my sister hosted my bachelorette. I ordered each of them sea salt caramels from Gilt food (had them delivered after the events, I live in FL and they are both in NY). For my FMIL i got her some chocolates from a local place as well as a picture frame from PB with a pic of me, FI and her from the shower she hosted. Also a small photo album with all the pics from the shower (she had wanted a set of the pictures my mom had taken). All of them got a nice little note too and they were all happy!
@Gabrielle123 where did you get the umbrellas done? Great idea btw!!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
My bridal party, mother, mother of the groom, and step mother of the groom are all throwing me a bridal shower....yes I know fingers crossed.
My question is what to give them as a thank you for throwing me the shower. From what I have gathered a tiny gift of appreciation should be given. I would like to give them something practical so would it be rude if I were to put together a individualized set of beauty products to use for the wedding, to help "prep" them for the day?
If not does anyone else have any ideas?
