@Orchd12:  I signed my shower thank you’s, my name first followed by his. He wasn’t there, but technically the gifts were for our new home together. I thought it was better to sign from both of us than just me and risk offending anyone.

I would just sign your name, that is what I plan to do.

My shower will be in my honor.

If it was a couples shower, then you would sign both.

I signed my thank yous with just my first name.  It was a ladies only shower.  I do plan to sign our wedding thank yous with both our first names.

Just put both your names on it, no chance if offending anyone that way.

I did it per gift – if it was a household item, I signed both names.  I also got some lingerie & girly gifts, so I just signed my name on those cards.

If it was a shower just for you, then you sign your name only.  If it was a couples shower, then sign both names.  No need to write your current last name (or even your future married name).  Everyone knows who you are! Obviously for your wedding gifts, though, you sign both names.

You shouldn’t ever sign his name.  If you want both names on there, you should have him sign it.
