The last one i went to was kitchen themed... we all were asked by her mother to bring a recipe to share!!
@julies1949: Well I enjoying doing outdoorsy stuff, golf, biking, camping, swimming - but I have all the equipment for that sort of stuff. I'm also a bit of a girly girl, my favorite color is pink, one of the links you listed had an idea for a tea party, which I think could be really cute and fun. I think I might suggest that and see what they say. Thanks for the links!
We took a girl from work out to High Tea yesterday
We all had a great time. You could have all the guests dress up and wear a hat.
I have always dreamed of throwing a high tea bridal shower were we all wear huge hat and little gloves. you could have small sandwiches and different teas! it would be fantastic. You could also pick your favorite color and have a _____ party where everyone wears the color and the gifts would be that color. Just some thoughts
@15happyyears: I went to one like that. It was fun, but I had to go find a big hat since I didn't have one!
I'm having a sweets-themed bridal shower. Bright colors, cupcakes, candy bar favors with personalized wrappers, and vases filled with candy and gerbera daisies are just some of the ideas I have in my mind.

Hey Everyone!
My FMIL, FSIL and FAIL would like to throw me a bridal shower and would like me to choose a theme for it. I really have no idea of any themes for bridal showers. Anyone here have ideas?
