Hello Bees!

Thanks to my wonderful mother and **Bee-Friend** I am having a shower.

I will admit I am nervous, (1) I dont have many friends and Lord knows who mom invited, (2) I'm not fond of being center of attention, rather just be apart of the gathering,  and last but not least (3) we've had some family troubles during the planning and I havent seen the mother of my ex-MaidofHonor, we shall meet again tomorrow. /sigh She's just the type to say something snarky and its going to be a challenge to hold my tongue on this one.

Why am I stressing over these stupid things?? Why can't I just enjoy it! Because when I sit and think it through I am SO very thankful for those who will be in attendance and those that really are there for the right reason and with the right hearts.

But anyways...my question was...did or will you ladies give a gift to who ever hosted your shower? If so, any examples or ideas?

And to any other Bees having their showre this weekend, have a blast and I hope its everything you dreamed of! xo

@UpstateCait: That is an AWESOME idea! =) So clever! Love it and thanks for your pre-party cocktail advice, definitely claiming a bottle of mine own wine tomorrow!

Oh and it might rain this weekend, maybe I could get them really cute "umbrellas" with a nice thank you or poem and gift card?!

@heyitssamyrae: are you doing a hostess gift? Have a blast, gotta get my booty up early to find an outfit! haha! best of luck!

@UpstateCait: im still thinking of doing a mini "from my shower to yours" baggy; since I only need to do two! I really love that idea!!

I took your advice! Thank you so much! The two glasses of wine really helped! The moment I walked in someone grabbed my purse and it seemed as if I just floated through the crowds of smiles and congrats and hellos. WOOH! I dont remember eating, but I do remember attempting to make at least two mini sandwiches and then being told to set my food down for a picture...GRR! lol But I still had my wine! We played a few games (Newlywed Game, TV Couples, A-Z Wedding Word Match) really fun stuff! My bridesmaid that pretty much put it together with my mom was amazing. I couldnt have asked for better; and it was Owl-Fall Theme!! Owls are my favorite! Everything from the "advice leaves" that the attendees wrote on and placed on the fireplace, the leaf "bridal shower" banner hanging off the mantel, the GOODIE bag! Each goodie bag had my favorite mini jar of Pumpkin Spice by Yankee Candles and home made cookies and a cookie cutter! She nailed me in a goodie bag! lol 

And we got some great gifts, didnt expect such a turn out. SO thankful for all the love and support we have. =) I made sure to get lots of pictures with my guests and to talk to them each individually. 

As for my hostess gift; I ended up making a little spa bag with a gift card to Happy Nails =) She definintely deserves some pampering after all the hard work she's put into it.
