Overall, I like the look! The highlight under the eyebrows could be blended a little better, and I’m not a huge fan of the liner on the lower lash line. I love the eyeshadow and lip color combo. I feel like that is very NYE appropriate. Maybe add some falsies for some extra pizzaz!

See, I loved your hair, especially in the first pic. 🙂  Personally, for an evening/NYE affair, I find the makeup overall subdued. It’s lovely, and as Hma128 mentioned, the lip and eye colors look great together. I’d just like to see more pop with the eyes.

So I’d bump up your look, and maybe having BMs wear this look.

I like the overall look, but I would to less bottom liner and a litter darker in the crease.

My vote is for the second, glitter look. 🙂

I think the eyeliner on the bottom lid is too heavy. It pulls your eyes down instead of lifting them up.

NYE2014:  more red on the lip and yes to the heavier, winged liner. That would give it a nice look for NYE!

NYE2014:  I like the look overall but these would be my suggestions.  Drop the black bottom eyeliner and use a lighter eyeshaddow-brown or bronze then add mascara on lower lashes. Add a little darker eye shadow to the outer corners. And longer/fuller false eyelashes.  With makeup, I find

Sorry this is so long but your pics inspired my creativity. I’m a prof MUA so I’m picky and I have my own ideas about what works in pictures so take with a grain of salt.  Heres what I see on you: gorgeous eyes, perfect lips, good skin.

When I do medium to lighter skin toned AAs for TV, and I love using a lighter lipstick (this is the opposite of what many MUA are taught re darker skin tones) with a smoky eye when the girl has almond eyes like you do. Yes, a winged eye and lashes that are longer at the edge, with a purple based ( depending on your wedding colors but you had that in trials) smokey eye and a soft sexy pink lip.

Nighttime means a dark eye, not dark eye and lips. the rule is pick one and play it up. In your case, you can pick  either, they are both great, but those eyes…. Look at Jennifer Lawrence’s eyes when she’s done up for a premier. You have the same upper lid shape. So sexy!

a pigmented eye shadow will be luscious even without glitter. Sometimes if you wet brush when applying the last color over crease, it is to die for pigmented and rich looking. Maybe just a hint of sparkle for the purple over the darker crease. Your crease is low and sexy and should be played up. Highlighter should go all the way from below the inner to outer brow for bedroom eyes and on inner eye below crease giving way to smoke on the outer edge.

No to the heavy lower liner. It photographs like dark circles and smudges. Use a waterproof liner on outer edge and smudge well with a shadow BEFORE the liner and after and knock down with a q tip or do inner wet line coming out and under at the edge to play up the almond cat eye.

Lastly, all brides need a lighter tone concealer or foundation under their eyes. It helps with photographs in ways I can’t even begin to express.

You are gorgeous. you’re going to look like a cover girl no matter what.

NYE2014:  lol, I don’t give out compliments unless I mean them. I have used a Mac pinkish nude lip pencil over oigmented lips  with a light brushing of pinkish nude lipstick followed by a Mac gloss over center and it does work with pigmented lips.

I so want you to play up those eyes!
