I have no shopping info there beyond what I see on the show, but I would love casting deets & insider info!

Out of those designers I think Allure and Tara Keely will be in your price range. Many of the others will be more in the $4k+ range. BUT your consultant will (or should) pull dresses within your budget so I wouldn’t worry.

I haven’t been there, but from looking at online reviews on Google and yelp, you might be hard pressed to find a dress under $3k. By the sounds of it they’ve jacked up their prices since the show started and don’t bother trying to cater to smaller budget brides.

But maybe your experience will be better since it’s being filmed

I rather expect that the consultant will pull out dresses that will test your budget to the limits! This is reality TV. The show is everything and I have no doubt that they bank on brides being totally carried away by the experience!

I’ve shopped there and wasn’t impressed. There service sucked but with you being on the show I’m sure you’ll be treated like a queen. Also, they jack their prices up just because they are Bridals by Lori. I’m sure you can find everything you want, somewhere for 3k, but it might not be there.

beautyofdreams: I’m sure your consultant will pull things in your range, but you also start off with things you yourself pull so I would be mindful when looking.

In defense of Bridals by Lori, I was not on the show and had a great experience! Flo was my consultant. And service overall was awesome too.

beautyofdreams:  My FI and I LOVE the show and i have seen a ton of brides go in with a $2K & $3K budget and find a beautiful dress! I would suggest research dresses from the designers they carry and have acouple to show them of what you want.

MrsHistory-Bee:  Flo seems awesome!! I had some mean older lady I’ve never seen on the show. There’s probably a reason she’s not one on there lol But I was literally the ONLY person in there on a Tuesday evening and was treated like “why are you here?”…

beautyofdreams:  Congrats! I just got an email asking if I wanted to be filmed for the alterations/real wedding section at the end of the show. As far as your budget… I know dresses start at $2000. Just be mindful when pulling your dresses because you don’t want to try on something above your price point and fall in love with it. When I was shopping there I had a hard time pulling anything under $5000, but then again I just tend to gravitate to anything expensive (unfortunately haha). My dress is Judd Waddell and I can tell you I doubt you’ll find anything of his at your price point, but I know you’ll find something you love! Cindy was my consultant but Lori and Monte also helped with accessories and such. You’ll have a blast!

beautyofdreams:  No, I didn’t film for the show while shopping, but I received an email today asking if I wanted to film my alterations and my wedding day. So, I was able to pull my own dresses. In fact, my consultant didn’t actually pull any dresses for me because I was able to pull enough while I was waiting for my appointment. I’m not sure about the discount for buying your first time shopping though. I got a 10% or 12% (don’t remember exactly) discount for buying a Judd Waddell as he was having a trunk show that weekend. I’m sure you will find something beautiful and be sure to update us when you do!
