@alishaneva: thats one of the reasons they're closing the bride magazines. With everything at our fingertips online, who needs a $8 magazine?

Very true RecessionistaBride. I love my wedding blogs, but I still enjoy flipping the pages of these mags while getting a mani/pedi.

@poli: oh I completely agree... I get tons of inspiration online, but I've ALWAYS loved the mags. If anything ever happened to MS Wedding, I'd freak. I'll read that magazine long after my wedding is over :)

WHAT?! Those were my two favorite magazines! Oh man. That bums me out so much. Modern Bride was only every other month, too. I was having a hard time getting my fix as it was. C'est la vie, I guess.

whoa! even "modern bride"! that's been around forever. it's sad that these old publications are closing -- even tho they needed updating, badly, it's a sad day.

That is a major bummer.  I think I like these mag's because its what I had always wanted to do when I was younger.  I'd see older girls that were engaged and they'd flip through their wedding magazine and I'd be like, "that's so cool" lol.  Luckily there are still these websites to hold us down!

It's sad because I do enjoy them.  On the other hand, they charge so much for those magazines, it's no wonder why people can't afford them anymore.  Luckily for everyone, though, that there are so many great online resources!

And I buy elegant bride every time it comes out! GRRR as long as MS weddings and Brides keep publishing, I think i'll be ok

I have to admit - even though I love the info and photos online, there is nothing else like a bridal magazine. I have a whole drawer full! :) I like BRIDES, Martha Stewart Weddings is ok, and The Knot Magazine. I get some really neat ideas, and since mine come in the mail it's nice to get something cool with my bills instead of oh hey, more bills. :)

Although I love the internet which has tons load of pictures and informations, I still find holding a tangigle copy of magazine satisfying.  I love reading magazines in bed b4 going to bed whereas laptops get hot if you put it on your lap!

I have subscriptions to all of them, too. DARN IT!

Bummer...I love wedding mags. However, I do like BRIDES and Bridal Guide the best. I hope those will stay around, I just got subscriptions.
