Regular poster here asking this anonymously because my Fiance goes on to catch up with my posts often and I dont want him to know this obviously!
I was hoping to have some other opinions on my idea for a gift to give my groom on our wedding day.
We have been engaged for 2 weeks now and are not getting married until summer 2014.. so i have bought a cute blue journal that says words to remember on it…
i want to write him a note, or love letters if you will about how i feel about him and what is going on in our lives between now and our wedding.. the firsat letter will be about how i felt with the proposal and the last will be written on the morning of the wedding.. then given to him with a note saying how its the happiest day of my life and I want him to have this as a reminder of how happy my life is with him
Romantic? Stupid? Unmanly? let me know why you answered the way you did

I think it is very romantic but it all depends on the guy. Is this something he will actually take the time to read and appreciate? Also, do you mind that it isn’t something he’ll use a lot if ever? He’ll probably read it once every couple of years.

Although many men are not as outwardly romantic as we would like them to be, I think this will touch his heart.

I think this is super cute! I love how sentimental and heartfelt it can/will be! My fiance would like something like this, he’s such a sap sometimes its so cute.. We have notes we wrote each other back in high school! its always fun to reminisce, especially years later and you’ll have it forever 🙂

I like the idea and think it’s super sweet and special. My Fiance would absolutely love this! You know your guy better than anyone, so if it sounds like something he’d go for then I’d do it!

You’d be surprised by how sentimental men really are, I found every card, note, napkin ring origami piece of crap I’ve ever given Mr. 99 in his desk while I was scouring for a stapler, of course I said nothing, but I really made me feel good about doing all those little sweet things for a man that outwardly appears about as nice as a gut shot grizzly bear. I love the idea, and he’ll treasure it always!

it is totally my kind of thing to do.. and one of his favourite qualities about me is coming up with things like this. I usually dont get gifts like this… just because I like him to need or really want a gift. but ya.. he is the type of guy to be really romantic to me, in private and I think he would love to have this.
I can see us getting into an arguement in the future and him reading a page or two to get him not mad or something anymore haha
