Do you mean, like short in the torso? That’s me. I went for a drop waist ball gown and it turned out quite flattering.

@S0InL0v3:  Yeah, as the PP said, if you are short-waisted a drop-waist gown willl probably suit you better. The other options is a dress with no waistline, like an a-line, or one with an asymettrical waistline.

I have a high waist and I’ve ended up with a 50s style dress that comes to just below the knee. I was actually surprised that this style suited me, but because it flares out quite high up you can’t actually tell where my hips start. I also tried on a drop waisted gown that worked quite well.
