My father passed away about a year ago so as I was planning my wedding; I asked my older brother to share the dance with me. The groom will come in half way for their dance too. I’m starting to get a little worried with the wedding 3 weeks away … I’ve yet to choose a song!? I’m finding it’s difficult to find a song that doesn’t have "daddy" in it. ANY IDEAS???!!!

My fiance’s sister did a similar bride/brother dance with her brothers. They danced to Sarah McLachlan’s I Will Remember You…as a sort of remembrance of their dad. It made all of the guests cry cause it was so touching.

so i guess it could be interpreted as a love song, but ben kweller has a great song called "family tree."

I asked a similar question about a week ago. I lost my dad just last year. I’ve decided to dance with my brother to "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong as was suggested by a few of the bees.
Good luck, it’ll be fine.

what about "you’ve got a friend in me?" the one from Toy Story. I’m just thinkin, it’s a little more upbeat

I’m dancing with my dad to "You’ve Got a Friend" which would work for a brother, too, I’d think.
