I am ALL OVER THE PLACE when it comes to dressing my TWO bridesmaids.
I started out with a brown/tan/orange color scheme, but I’m having trouble finding the right orange, so I’m thinking of putting them in a light cocoa/latte color. However, David’s discontinued the color I was looking for!!
My dress has very pale pink accents, so now I’m thinking of a pale pink/dark brown combo, but it that to springy for a fall wedding?
THEN when I was in DB with the girls, I fell in LOVE with a chiffon dress in a color called “Oasis” – it was like a teal. COMPLETELY OPPOSITE DIRECTION, but I don’t have my decor yet, so it really wouldn’t hinder anything.
I AM ALL OVER THE PLACE. I was thinking of going to Men’s Wearhouse this weekend with Fiance and maybe that will help guide me. Does that sound like a good idea, or is it unconventional for me to go with him? It will just be the two of us, and he will try some groomsmen options.
PS I’m aware I’m making a big deal out of nothing lol, but I’m doing this ONCE, I want to do it RIGHT!!

@BurlapnLace: The men can wear what they want as other than maybe their accessories, their suits or tuxes are not part of the color palette. Other than maybe brown suits, which I wouldn’t receommend, suits are all in neutral colors which go with everything.
I suggest you nail down your color palette, then look for dresses.
Are you familiar with http://www.theperfectpalette.com and http://www.design-seeds.com
On perfect palette, click on a color you love and you will see all the palettes featuring that color.
On design seeds, you can play around with the search by color value tool or search by theme.

My Fiance and I went out hunting for suit ideas together. He took a groosman out last weekend and took loads of pictures for me so I could get an idea of the color he was leaning towards (I was going to come but decided that watching netflix in bed was more appealing lol). We’ve got to get the girls’ dresses way before the guys get their suits so I wanted to make sure we won’t clash too much.

Oh the joys of picking out colors for everyone else to wear!
Close your eyes and envision your wedding. What colors do you see? Those are the colors that you want to use. Ignore the season, and just go with what makes you happy!

@BurlapnLace: Dark brown is a fall color, not a spring color. You are fine.

@julies1949: Thanks for the suggestion, I didn’t know about that!
