I've never been, but I'm volunteering at an event this weekend! I'm really looking forward to it...I hope the shoppers aren't vicious! :)

Me and my little sister stumbled on one in Snohomish two years ago, and she got to play dress up with the "too far gone" gowns before they were made into quilts. I saw a bride there having a good time, and the staff I met were extremely nice. I tried volunteering last year, but there was something already on the calendar. If I don't have a wedding on their Snohomish date this year, I plan on volunteering.
Bee and I have volunteered at the Brides Against Breast Cancer event. I highly recommend it! The dresses are arranged by size and an army of volunteers do their best to keep all the dresses organized! There are dresses of all kinds, from mind-blowing bargains to high-end designer gowns at a decent discount. The samples are in very good condition and we have witnessed many a bride find "the one" at these events! If the sale seems intimidating to you, feel free to bring a friend along. :-) Good luck!

I know that a few of the bees have volunteered at the Brides against Breast Cancer event. I wanted hear your experience if anyone has been to it recently. Is it organized? Are you guests vicious? I don't do well with sale shopping for regular clothes and doing it for a wedding gown just scares me.
