I did a lot of smaller flowers, but my biggest ones were roses and there werent that many…

I got a package deal as well so i dont know how much the boquet cost, but I paid almost 300.00 for mine (4 girls) and about 12 bouts.

My sister had a rose and calla lily bouquet.  I think your first quote was closer to what my sister had and she’s about 5’3″.  It wasn’t too big.  You should run to your local grocery store and hold up what a dozen roses looks like all bunched together real tight and see how you feel the size is.  I think the numbers sound high, but when they are all bound together, especially if you aren’t having any greenery, you need a high count to get a good full look.

My bouquet will have about 20 stems of flowers, plus 5 of hypericum berries, and lots of greenery and seasonal flowers for filler.  And I’m 5′ even.  So my stem count will end up being pretty high.

Mine had garden roses, mini callas, waxflower – I’m short but it was perfect for me.

It cost about $150 (I think?)

@mcnetn3: I totally did that! I was in the floral section for a good 20 minutes. I’m 4’11 and I like the greens and baby’s breath so I only want a dozen with some hydrangea. (Hope I spelled that right.)  I’m doing 6 roses with green and accents for my BMs.

Jess534, I would absolutely recommend mcnetn3’s advice. Hit the grocery store.

I had a lot of little flowers, but it was a fair size… I’m 5’4″.  I’m not sure exactly how much it cost, since I DIY’d and paid $430 for all the flowers we bought at the wholesaler.
