@Stiletto13:  Um, no. Who is going to notice anyways?! My bridal bouquet will not match the BMs – they will coordinate. The BMs get smaller, cheaper bundles whereas I will haul an unGodly large and beautimous bouquet down the aisle. It’s my day so it’s myyyyyyyy way… well, florally speaking at least. 🙂

Relax. You’ll be fine. They are only flowers.

@Stiletto13:  No need to stress….it will be completely fine. There is no rule that the bridesmaids have to have the same type of flower as your bouquet. I actually like the idea that yours will be completely different….Buif you are really really set on having your bridesmaid have them…..what about something like this as an option?

They could just carry a couple of stems like this

Mine aren’t matching either!

My BMs will be carrying bouquets of white hydrangeas with hydrangea leaves surrounding the base and trailing ribbons. Very traditional and southern.

My bouquet will be white ranunculus, white poppies, white dahlias, italian rusucus, and monte casino. So it will be a lot more “modern” and Style Me Pretty style.

I figured it’s a good mixture because my dress is traditional and southern so I need a bouquet to give it some more personality, and my BM dresses are trendier cocktail dresses so they need something to bring it down a notch.

I intentionally chose a different style for my bridesmaids than what I would be having. It’s fun to be different!

These are my inspiration pictures.  They’re from theknot

Mine will be similar to this.

The girls will have something similar to this, but smaller.

@Stiletto13:  Mine didn’t match.  I made them myself, so obviously I did them just how I wanted.  I was very happy with the results!

you are the bride, your bouquet should be different so that you stand out.

i am having an all white calla lilly and orchid bouquete

my 2 BM are weaing navy and having a wild bunch of flower bouquete with white, lavender, navy, and greenery.

and my MOH is having a lavener calla lillie boquette so she stands out from the other BMs since they all chose to wear the same dress.

@Stiletto13:  No need to stress at all. I think it will look great. I am really not a fan of everything being matchy matchy. I think adding in hints of other colors will add more interest and look good. I really like the dark purple flowers, they are beautiful.

@Stiletto13:  my bridal bouquet is going to be totally opposite of the girls.  I am having a small, white (likely gardenias) bouquet; the girls are going to be carrying small bunches of lavender or muscari.  totally different.  i used to do wedding flowers for a living- and i have seen ALL sorts of things done.

I’m doing almost the referse of you, the bridesmaids are having very simple bouquets made of 3 white carla lilies and some greenary and my bouquet is a whole miss-mash of flowers.  I think as long as they sort of coordinate then they wil look great (at least I hope so)

@Stiletto13:  Mine doesn’t match my BM’s either. And I also made them.  I wanted mine to be whites and pinks and sparkles and i wanted my BM’s to have a much darker shade of pinks. Something that matched their dresses.

I think it’s better when the don’t match honestly. You want to stand out right?
