I am a blush wearing bride (MoriLee 4902) and am currently in the process of finalizing the color for bridesmaid dresses. I am thinking white for the girls but I have heard mixed emotions about that. Thoughts? I would love some inspiration. What color are your girls wearing? Feel free to share pictures if you already tied the knot. Thanks ahead of time.

I’m not wearing a blush gown, although I absolutely love them! I like the look of white/ivory BM dresses with a blush wedding gown. I know some people feel weird about it because the whole “the bride is only supposed to wear white” thing, but you’re not wearing white, so that no longer applies. Also, a tan color would look really pretty. Actually, pretty much any soft/pastel color would look great with a blush dress lol

My girls are wearing a dark eggplant purple to go with my blush dress 🙂

mine wil be wearing purple as well 🙂

I suggest khaki, as well, and I second the suggestion of pastels in general. White would work as well, but you sound a little hesitant to dress your bridesmaids in white. 🙂

I think you should do whatever it is you like and think looks great.
I like neutral dresses, but not white and I went against doing neutral simply because I wanted the dresses to be brighter and bring color in.
I like the idea of a darker blue against the blush.

My dress was blush with an ivory lace overlay. My bridesmaids wore pewter dresses, but I think that for a summer wedding, champagne would be beautiful!

That’s a pretty dress and color! What about grey bridesmaids? There are tons of weddings with that color scheme and I love it.

Tan, grey, darker pink, mauve, lavender…

I went bridesmaid dress shopping today and I am definitly favoring champagne. I love the softness of the color. Thanks for all the feedback.

I think gray looks great also.

@mrschmura: love when BMs wear white, when the bride is in blush!

@mrschmura: What color did you end up going with?
I’m also wearing a blush gown and leaning toward putting my girls in ivory…I feel like it would be so unexpected and cool (I’ve never seen it done in person). My FI, for some reason, has a strong opinion about what color my girls should wear and already said he thought gray was too down/dowdy for a Spring wedding. I disagree; I love gray! Guess I shouldn’t have asked. LOL

@DomesticDiva: I ended up going with champagne for the girls and guys. With my husband in ivory. It looked perfect.
