    Hey all,

I was just wondernig if any of you wore cowboy boots with your wedding dress (pics please) ...and IF so, what socks if any did you wear and if you didn't wear socks how did you keep the shaft from rubbing your legs raw?  Sorry I know that's 3 questions in one, I was just considering wearing my boots and wanted some thoughts on if you had any problems with doing that ....thanks ladies :D

I'm not married and therefore can't specifically answer your question - but I'd wear socks.  Maybe you can find some in your wedding colours so on the off chance they're visible (and for photo-ops) it's all coordinated?

Hm...I wear my boots all summer and they don't rub my legs raw! They're an 11'' shaft.

I'm totally planning on wearing some on the big day. And socks!

I'm not wearing boots for the wedding day but i wear boots for riding ect you are going to have to wear tall socks.. You can check out rods western wear or Lagrange leather. I get mostof my boots from Lagrange, they also have loooonnng socks there? It's probably not going to look so sexy either unless you really work the leather.

Both my husband and I wore boots for our wedding.  I wore a pair of his basketball socks (tall) to keep them from rubbing. I think boots are great idea especially if they fit your personality :)  Brides in Boots : wedding shoes boots Boots1Brides in Boots : wedding shoes boots Boots2Brides in Boots : wedding shoes boots Boots3

...to be more specific I think it's most important that the socks at least cover your ankle and a little higher.  Mine didn't reach all the way to the top of the boots and I didn't get any rubbing/blisters.  But I wear my boots a lot so they were well worn in.

I wear boots all the time.  I've never had a problem with rubbing, but I always wear socks.  Sometimes tall, sometimes just short running socks.
