Amen to that! I was 40 when I got married and didn't bother with the rules, as Franky says "I Did It My Waaaaay" and loved it.
Amen Sista - I think there should be a rule that you cannot get married until you are at least 35 (have kids in your 20's though lol) it is so much more fun this time.
I had my first fitting on Friday. It was the first time I saw my dress with my shoes and my veil - the two seamstresses gasped and I did too. I have never ever felt so beautiful and happy in my life and I am doing all of the things I should not be doing :)
At church today (and we go to a traditional Presbyterian Church) my minister (who is also divorced and remarried) was chatting to us about our date/ceremony etc
and for anyone that thinks it is wrong I really am not that concerned with their opinion because people who love us are happy for us
I love that I waited until I found the right person (and, let's be honest, I became the right person for someone else) rather than let my fear of never finding someone scare me into something in my 30's.
