amberback:  I looove your glasses!! I have decided not to wear my glasses for our wedding day but FI will be wearing his. For our engagement pictures I wore contacts for the first dressier outfit then changed into jeans and my glasses to feel more more. I might have some photos with and without my glasses on our wedding day too!

I love the glasses you chose! Very pretty and I love that they have your wedding colours (: You can’t see in the pictures, but mine are pink on the inside which was one of our colours. I got these glasses like 4 years ago though aha so I didn’t actually get them with our wedding in mind. I just feel like I look like me with glasses on and it would be weird looking at wedding pictures and seeing someone who looks totally different.

I am also keeping my hair short, which appalls some people! FI LOVES my hair short thought and gave me a brief disappointed look when I even mentioned growing it out for the wedding!

I wore glasses on my wedding day! I’ve had glasses for over 10 years. I’ve never worn contacts and never tried to. The idea of putting something into my eye freaks me out. I had a couple people ask if I was going to try contacts for my wedding. But why would I want to look different than I normally do? I think glasses are beautiful so I went with it!

This is a great thread!  Keep the pictures coming!  There are so few pictures of brides with glasses out there!  I plan on wearing mine as well.  I haven’t worn contacts in years and I hated them when I did.  I don’t want to have dry eyes for such a long night.  I might take my glasses off in some of the pictures though.

amberback:  I did! I just don’t feel like me without my glasses. I only wore contacts for a few weeks when I was a freshman in high school, and I hated them!

I wore my glasses! I got new ones a couple months before our wedding. I figured I’ve been wearing glasses since highschool and just wouldn’t look like me without them.

amberback:  Aww thanks! I’m sure your cat would look so handsome aha. I got married outside at my parents’ house  so it was a lot easier to sneak my cat into the picture 😉 She’s 20 and we grew up together so I really needed a picture with her (:

My glasses are part of who I am, and I think I look weird without them. So of course I am going to wear them! Also, my Fi likes them 🙂

I’m going to wear them for part of the day, so most pictures without and some with. I bought blush wedding glasses to go with my blush theme. Will post pics once married! I’m a month!

BurlapnLace:  Thank you so much! 😀 <br />Omg at first I had no idea what you were talking about with the ragdoll thing and then realised you meant breed of cat haha! Her name is Tango (I named her when I was 3 aha) and she’s a Siamese/Burmese mix.
