So, I was thinking recently about how many (horrible)photos my dad took of me over the years while I was singing or talking. And I started to worry about the photos that will be taken during my wedding. Oh god. Weddings have music. MUSIC! I never stop singing. Im always singing and if im not singing, ill be talking. Like you know, during my first dance. Anyone else have the same worries? Did everything turn out okay?
Someone reassure me that SOMEHOW my photographer will get mostly pictures with my mouth closed?

I also sing all. the. time. I think that your photographer should be able to make sure that you get some shots of your with your mouth closed. That’s what they are paid for. If you are worried about it, make sure to mention it specifically, then they can signal you at least once to get a few shots before you belt out the high notes. 🙂

My mouth was open in most of my candid wedding photos. Why? because I was constantly, joyously laughing. So I don’t have a lot of candids with my mouth closed? No big deal. That means I was extremely happy and having an amazing time. Feeling good, and having photos that reflect those positive feelings matters far more to me than the aesthetics of having my mouth open in candid photos.

I would not worry abot this, in the least.Just have fun and let the photographer do his job. That way he can take beautiful pictures of you having fun, not pictures of you looking fo rhis lens and fake smiling. Really. Don’t worry about it. It’ll be fine!
