Hi Ladies,
So I've officially picked my dress (!!!!) ... Casablanca 1914. I want to carry that vintage meets glam vibe and wear pearl jewelry, and would love to see some inspiration pics.
So, did you wear pearls??? Please post pictures :)

I had simple pearl "drop" earrings and a big glam chunky pearl necklace!

I don't have a picture on this computer but I wore a single drop pearl that had a couple small diamonds over it with my dress. Simple and elegent. I also wore pearl studs in my ears.

I wore my grandmother's pearl necklace and bracelet--matched the pearls on my dresses beading so well!. My veil had pearls along the edges. Each of my bridesmaids had different styles of pearl-themed jewelry.
@7sevenj9, that is EXACTLY the look I wanted, but I felt like it'd overpower mydress. :-/ You rocked it!

I am planning on wearing a single strand of pearls with pearl studs. Don't have pics yet, but once I do I'll show you!

Here's the best picture I can find right now. It's my step-MIL's pearls with the pearls my sister saved to buy me. It looked so good because they were two different colors and shapes.
Here's mine... (pardon the ginormous picture). I bought a necklace, earring and bracelet set off of etsy, and they were beautiful. (Though I didn't realize when I bought them that I have enormous wrists, so I wound up not wearing the bracelet - it was too small). Let me know if you'd like the name of the seller. (Also, she was willing to make the earrings clip ons - my holes had closed up, as I don't wear earrings often.)
@rachaelrobin: I haven't decided yet! That's why I wanted to see pics knowing the bee probaly has a variety of pearls...something understated most likely since my dress has so much detail and beading...but that still says 'special' haha

@MissDallasCowboy: Thanks! I took that one myself bc I realized my photog didn't really get good pics of my jewelry (I already had it all on when she arrived).
@Miss Damask & @FutureMcBride - Thank you! My dress was very simple, so I blinged out with the jewelry - Got them at John Lewis Department Store when I was on a trip to England for work, but you can order them online - under $60 USD for the necklace, earrings and my hair flower!
My photographer also got this great pic of my accessories, you can see the pearls better in this one!
I had a Casablanca dress too! Mine was 1930. I wore all pearl accessories.
@catholicbride: Where did you get that hair comb thing?! I want one like that for my hair but no luck looking around so far! So pretty.
Yay, I love pearls and am so excited to share more of my pics. We got our pro pics back in February, but didn't get a disc with rights until this month. Here are my pearl pics. The necklace and earrings I already owned, and I made my hair comb (super easy).
Since I asked all you lovely ladies to show me yours it's only fair to return the favor! I JUST ordered these off etsy...I'm not 100% sure if they're going to match my dress, I'll have to try them on with it, but I'm really excited about them and hope hope hope they'll match! I got the necklace, bracelet, and earrings.

My mom is buying my jewelry for me but I gave her instructions to buy these or something similar..
they're both currently out of stock sto I'm hoping they get more or my mom can find some like them at a reasonable price (less than 100$ for both at Zales!)

I'm wanting to wear pearls as well but am worried about how a strand of pearls will look with my v-neck dress. I don't want them to look out of place. Should I just stick with a bracelet and not wear a necklace at all?

I wore a pearl necklace that my hubbie gave me the night before at the rehearsal dinner, pearl studs, and my grandmothers vintage pearl necklace on my wrist as a bracelet!

nice photos ladies!! I had full intentions of wearing peals, and the day of, I changed my mind. I'm still not sure why.
