I will be wearing contacts on the day of the wedding!
I understand your frustration with headbands - I only wear them if I am not wearing glasses!
There was a Bee who rocked glasses and a couple other members and were posting about it around Sept. I'll try and find them for you!
You can be!
Here's Mrs. Candy Corn in glasses:

And more from Offbeat Bride!
I wil be wearing mine. My FI was very sad when I mentioned the possibility of contacts and asked specifically that I wear my glasses because that would make it more "me." I guess I would rather look like myself on my wedding day, since I am never without my glasses any other time.

I'm wearing my glasses! And I plan on looking very "bridal." :)
I wouldn't even dream of wearing contacts.
I'm rocking me some contacts for the ceremony but I'm sure I'll be changing into my glasses sometime during the reception! And I totally get you on the headband issue, I always find that the thinner the headband is by the ears the easier it is because you can have the headband and then put your glasses on top of it. Make sense?
That's really unfortunate that bridalbuds jacked Mrs. Candy Corn's picture without giving any credit or attribution to her or her photographer...
I wore glasses at my wedding! Granted I bought some that were frameless, but they were green and matched our wedding colors that way! I did not wear anything but a flower in my hair, though -- not because of the glasses; I just wasn't hip to cool birdcage veils in time for my wedding! (Kinda wish now I had worn one. ;)
Here is a picture; hoping you can see the glasses in this one!
Good luck--you'll look great with the glasses; don't worry!
Sorry; I couldn't get my picture to post. What are the size limitations, anyway? I can't find any info about that . . . :P
Check out rocknrollbride.com she's got a TON of examples on how to rock glasses the day of.. like this little jem!
I'll be rocking a pair of glasses at my wedding! i thought about contacts, but, seriously, I've never worn them before and having spent half my life wearing glasses now, i think that look is way more ME then contacts. Rock the glasses look! :D
Here are some totally cute girls rockin their glasses!
These pics are great, ladies! I think I may actually wear my glasses. I'd feel more like myself.
I've found three really great examples the glasses + birdcage combo, which is what I personally hope to rock. :)

I hope these can inspire others as they do me :)
I have frameless glasses, and I'm planning on wearing them. Thanks for posting all these examples!

I'm blind as a bat without my glasses, and my eyes burn and water like crazy whenever I've tried contacts (eye doctor said they're sensitive; I believe him, haha), so I'll be rocking my frames down the aisle. I hate that I never see pictures of brides in glasses though -- did anyone else where theirs?
I'd love to see pics with veils, since I'm heavily leaning in the direction of wanting a birdcage, but am terrified at the thought of it getting snagged on the corner of my frames, etc. and tearing. I'm also thinking about a headband (my hair is cropped), but worry about my glasses stems getting in the way of the headband behind my ears.
Sigh. Please reassure me that I can still be bridal in glasses!
