Brides with no bling?

I am a bling-less bride!  My mom tried to push me to get a bling-y sash for my dress but it just isn’t my style, and I will be wearing a pearl necklace I received from my parents for Christmas last year, and a pearl hair comb my sister gave me for my birthday.  I’m making my own bouquet, and my aunt has been trying to convince me to put in some rhinestone pins to add bling, but I’ll be keeping those bling-free as well.

For the ceremony and photos I didnt have any bling, I had tear drop ear rings and that was all.

For the reception i did add a small swarovski crystal belt.

@TorontoBride2be:  gorgeous!!!

I am bling-free, lace-free, totally plain.  My dress has lots of pleating, but that’s about it!

I’ve posted mine a million times…but i’ll post again! I wanted simple, traditional elegance for my wedding day look. All I added was a small brooch.

I’m a bling-free bride! There’s some rhinestoney things inbetween my pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet, but it’s like 90% pearls to 10% sparkley. There is no sparkle on my dress – just lace.

I’m with you – flashy isn’t my thing either. I like classic elegance. I’d have bought plain pearls but they didn’t have them at the store.

Do your day your way.. don’t listen to anyone else 🙂

My dress is completely bling free, and I love it. I’m wearing a pearl necklace, and my earrings will probably be the only bit of me with a little sparkle. This is my dress.

The blingy stuff was just way “too much” on me. I wanted more of a simple, elegant look.

I wanted interesting construction as opposed to bling on myself. But there are definitely some gorgeous blingy dresses out there!

I had no bling on my dress or in my hair. I just had pearls. I was going for a classic look and I’m really not a bling kind of person.

This was my dress. Lace only. No bling. I did have small art deco-esque earrings and necklace though that had some rhinestones in them
