I only have one visible - another on my ankle so you couldnt see it. you really couldnt see the one on my back with the veil on but without its there for all to see
in general I enjoy tattoos, even on brides however, I did have one friend who thought it was hilarious to have "God Loves Ugly" across her back and IMO it ruined her look on her wedding day! It's hard to admire the beauty of a bride on her big day when she's calling herself ugly in black and white across her body parts..lol

You can't see the whole tattoo, but it's a butterfly with some blue shading on my right shoulder. I love it!! Btw, I'd love to meet your photographer!!
I'm not married yet, but I have flowers on both of my shoulder blades. I haven't gotten my dress yet, but I definitely don't picking one specifically to hide my tats.
Does your photog do PA weddings?? lol
i have a tattoo in a similar spot to abbyful but on the other side. It's a unicorn (are you surprised?). Her is one pic from behind where you can see it:

I have a star on my other wrist, they are a memorial to my friend who passed.

This was my first tattoo, my mother has always HATED it, she was happy when my strap kinda covered it. But here it is!

Surprisingly there aren't any good pics of the one on my neck. It seemed that even when I took the veil off for the ceremony, either my hair was covering it or it's too far away. I have one on my left ankle and a big one on my lower back.
@abbyful: Beautiful! Is that a bird?
@totheislnds: Your tattoo has a really interesting shape! Also, LOVING the photobomber in the second pic.
@AnneTossy: I've always loved the look of wing tattoos on the back. Very elegant.
@nrieder: You can find her at http://blog.sarahheppell.com/ - she does mostly central NY stuff. We haven't met in person yet (or officially booked her), but she and I have exchanged a few emails and she's really fun!
@msgraphics: Scorpio tattoo! I've been wanting a little scorpion on my foot since my teen years, hehe.
@PurpleUnicorn: Beautiful!
I live in STL, so it's my loss. Someone who will give a discount to someone for not being afraid to stand out seems like a cool person to me :)
Three of my seven tattoos will be visible - four if you count the one on my right foot. I have lyrics tattooed right on my collarbone, and I will be wearing my hair in a low side chignon with a sweetheart dress so it's clearly visible. I have a small one on my left shoulderblade (baby footprints), and a one-word text tattoo on my left wrist, but people hardly ever notice it.
I'm wearing flats, and they cover just the very edge of the end of the ribbon on this one:

shoulder:
wrist:
And here is a picture of the most visible one, + a picture of how it'll be seen when I wear my dress:
(sorry for the stupid face lol, I was crying)
Ok so this is reallly big on me and clipped but here is my tattoo in it so far and I will show u one IF i was to have chosen a strapless dress
I have mother in chinese(small) on my other shoulder and idk if my "tramp stamp" will show lol But the cool thing is FI is not crazy about all my tats and this kinda hides them and shows them off so we both win! I was not about to cover them up with make up and FI said thats totally fine but I ended up oddly falling in love with this and didnt realize how much they were covered:)

And here is how the back will look once fitted(on another pretty bride!)

Here is my whole back

Oh and my left wrist one. I have 2 more but they are hidden(ankle and lower hip area)

Here are the backs of the two dresses I'm deciding between (my tattoo is visible on both):

I love everyone's tattoos! I have a stupid flower and the word LOVE (which i love) under it and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy some movie makeup to cover it up!! Lol, or hope my hair covers it. I don't mind it at all on others but for some reason I just really dont want it to show! lol
I have three tattoos, but only two were visible on my wedding day (the other is near my right hip):

The butterfly is in memory of my mom. My husband and I got matching infinity symbols together. One of my dress requirements was that it would not cover either one.
I have a bunch and actually have a lot more on my left arm now than I did in this photo! It goes down to my elbow now, I have to upload photos but cant do it on my iPad. Grrr... Anywho, here's the photo!

Hello bees!
Currently, my body is sans art, but I have plans for at least two tattoos this year (a yellow bird on my left wrist and the word "love" in my handwriting on my right forearm) which will be visible for my wedding. The symbolism for both is huge, and I will be proud to have them show. I'd love to see some pictures of brides rocking their tattoos in their gowns - there's gotta be some of you out there!
(Fun side note: the photographer we are considering actually gives a discount to brides with at least 1 visible tattoo ^_^)
