i'm taking all of them for manis/pedis and then later to a nice restaurant nearby for some brunch. =)
My aunt is throwing my bridesmaids luncheon at Maggianos. We are just going to eat and I'll give them their presents!!
I'm hosting a brunch at the beach cottage my family is renting. I'm also showing a video/slideshow with cute stories, photos and music about each girl. I've ordered engraved mint julep cups for each and will fill them with flowers in our colors to be the centerpieces and it will be a cute 'favor' for each of them. I'll also give them their pearl necklaces to wear on the wedding day at this time.

I am having a girls night in, with cocktails and girly stuff and giving the girls all their gifts. Once we get to the Bahamas for our destination wedding, we are having a wedding day breakfast and manis/pedis/hair/makeup at the spa with simosas.
Since we have a 7:00p.m. wedding, I have plenty of time the day of to lavish attention on my gals; I am taking them to brunch at an adorable teahouse and giving them their gifts there (pearl necklaces and picture frames in the wedding colors), then treating them to mani/pedis afterward(within walking distance on the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder), and then to get their/our hair done (I am getting each of them gift certs for $75 toward their hair).
Since my BMs hosted my bridal shower, I did not want to drag them to yet another event for my wedding by doing a separate BM luncheon. Seems like I went along with the popular theme above.
On the afternoon of the rehearsal (since they were all planning on attending the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner), I took them to lunch and treated them to massages, manis & pedis at the spa.
On the day of the wedding, they all met at my hotel and I paid for their hair and makeup and gave them the BM gifts. Also provided breakfast and lunch for all of them while we got ready.
on the day of the wedding, i'm taking my BMs to lunch at cosi (mmmmm cosiiiiiiii), giving them their gifts there, and then we're getting our hair and nails done. then it's time to get married!
We did something a little bit different. I had a very small bridal party, just my mom as the MOH and my good friend as my BM. But I had a lot of girls that were very important to me and I wanted to include in something special. They all came over to the house the day before the wedding for a "working party". We put together the flowers and the favors. When we were done with that we all sat down on the floor and my good friend lead us in a "girls ritual". I had purchased inexpensive charms that said things like, "dream...hope...love...". We tied each to the end of a ribbon and put them all in a mason jar. After we had done a grounding meditation every girl (there were about 8) pulled a ribbon with a charm. We then went around the circle and shared why we thought we had pulled that word and what it meant for each girl's life. They then used their word as a blessing back to me and my FI in our new life together. It was the most amazing time!!! We laughed and cried! And then we all wore our charms the next day for the wedding either as a necklace or a bracelet. I gave out gifts at the rehearsal dinner and then later that night one of my girls did henna tattoos on everyone. We had so much fun! I highly recommend having down time to connect with your girls during the days leading up to the wedding. It was so awesome! Good luck!
